The Shelterluv Effect:
Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League
The Peggy Adams team ensured that everyone on staff had practiced their daily tasks in Shelterluv before going live, ensuring a smooth transition. Now that they're on Shelterluv, they love using it from their phones and its general ease-of-use!
Robust internal staff training for a smooth transition
"The transition went smoothly for such a large group and so many animals. Weeks before our launch date and with the Shelterluv team's support, we began practicing all our processes in Shelterluv. Our teams were able to perform their daily functions in our current software and then recreate it on the Shelterluv side to see and experience the way it would work once we went live. This provided us with a real-time side by side comparison for those who were hesitant of the change, so they could get a real feel for how to do their daily functions in the new system, long before we actually went live,"
says Sue Berry, the CEO.
Staying up-to-date through mobile capabilities
"I personally have to say it is a huge relief to me that I can log into the software on my phone at any given moment and know exactly what is going on in my shelter, which is something I was unable to do with our previous system Chameleon. I always felt my information was weeks behind and knowing what is happening day to day, hour by hour, such a luxury!"
Increased efficiency with easy search options
"To be able to "search" for something like a microchip number or person's name in Chameleon, you have to press special keyboard shortcuts to bring up a reporting function and then choose a custom report. It's not easy or intuitive. My staff loves that they can simply type information into a search bar in Shelterluv to quickly find what they're looking for!"
