Ginny holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Journalism with an emphasis in Photojournalism and has spent more than 25 years doing customer- and community-driven work. She has spent 17 years working in the nonprofit sector at local, national, and international levels, which has shaped how she listens, adapts her work to the real needs of each community, and supports people where they are. Along the way, Ginny has been most inspired by the people doing the day-to-day work to make their communities stronger. Supporting those helpers and making sure they have what they need to succeed has been a consistent focus throughout her career.

Ginny spent 10 years in animal welfare where she helped build community-centered approaches to lifesaving. During that time, she worked closely with shelters and rescues across the country, learning from shared challenges and successes. Today, as a Customer Success Executive at Shelterluv, she is proud to continue that collaboration by helping organizations make the most of the tools that support people, pets, and the communities that care for them.

Outside of work, Ginny shares her life with her partner, Aaron, and their two dogs, Yoti and Schmitty, and cat, Mreereereer.

Digging Deeper

I enjoy working where strategy meets real-world impact. Throughout my career, I’ve focused on creating clear, engaging communication that helps bring people together around shared goals. I love finding the right message and approach to make ideas resonate—whether that’s strengthening a brand, aligning stakeholders, or helping a mission feel more tangible and human.I also bring hands-on experience with grant writing and management, from securing funding to ensuring compliance and evaluating outcomes. I genuinely enjoy untangling complex processes and turning them into systems that are easier to understand and more effective to use. At my core, I’m a collaborative problem-solver who’s motivated by helping teams work smarter and seeing thoughtful efforts turn into meaningful, measurable impact.
