Offsite adoptions made easy
"We use Shelterpay for all of our offsite adoption centers. It makes it so easy to do adoptions without needing a volunteer to be there in person! We have adopters scan a QR code to fill out an online application at the adoption center. We give them a call and then send the Shelterpay Mobile Checkout link to their phones to complete the digital contract, payment, and donation. They can go home with their new pet right away! It's so easy,"
says Stephanie Lewis, the Director of Animal Programs.
Tracking community programs
"People that need help fill out an online, integrated application. Then our team creates a person and pet record in Shelterluv and use that to track the services we provide in two ways: 1. We create an "activity" in the Field and Community Services module to record what service will be provided and when and 2. When we take in their animal for temporary boarding, we process it as a "service intake" so that we can easily pull numbers on the number of animals boarded for what duration."
Finding fosters quickly
"We use attributes to track which fosters can do what, and the 'Foster Finder' feature allows us to easily filter for the fosters that actually fit our needs at the time. For example, we have attributes for fosters that can accept neonatal and/or ringworm-positive animals so we can narrow down our message to only that group of fosters when needed."
